CoochBehar, West Bengal: Two persons were killed and four others were injured when a stone laden truck overturned at Rasik Bill area of Tufanganj in West Bengal, police sources said on Wednesday.
The truck carrying stones was on its way to Gauripur in Assam from Raidak. The driver tried to save a bicycle rider and lost control over the vehicle and it overturned on Tuesday night, they said.
Local people rushed to the spot and rescued the injured.
Two of the seriously injured have been shifted to MJN Hospital in CoochBehar.
