Shimla: Two labourers were buried alive while working in a tunnel for a hydropower project in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district, the police said on Tuesday.
"Two labourers, who were working in a tunnel, were killed when debris fell on them," Station House Officer S.R. Negi told IANS over the phone from the spot.
The victims were working on a mini hydropower project being constructed by Pune-based Rajpur Hydro Power Private Ltd at Nogli near Rampur town, some 130 km from here.
According to the police, one of the victims belonged to Sirmaur district in the state, and the other was from Uttarakhand.
