Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh:
Two minor girls, including a nine-year-old, were raped in different parts of the district since Tuesday, police sources said on Wednesday.
A 15-year-old girl was dragged into the field and raped allegedly by a man, when she had gone out in for some work at the Nindura area this morning, they said.
An FIR has been lodged against the man and medical examination of the girl was conducted, the police said.
In a separate incident, a 9-year-old girl was raped allegedly by Abhishek Varma alias Vipul in Baddapur area, the police said adding that he had been arrested.
