Two run over by train in Mathura

Mathura: Two people were killed after being hit by a train near Bhooteshwar railway crossing when they were taking the 'parikrama' in Mathura on the occasion of Akshay Navmi, police said on Friday.

According to police, Ramvati, wife of Vishambhar, was a resident of Noida and other 60-year-old unidentified man were hit by train while they were crossing railway tracks.

In another incident, thirteen devotees, including four children, were injured when an uncontrolled speeding bus hit them while they were performing parikrama in Vrindavan, police said.

The injured have been rushed to the hospital, where Radhe (8) and a woman were stated to be in critical condition, they said.
