Two unidentified bodies found

Jamshedpur: Two unidentified bodies, including that of a half-burnt body of a girl, were recovered from Lailam Ghati on the border of Jharkhand and Orissa on Wednesday.

While the girl's body was recovered from the ground, the body of the youth, suspected to be the lover, was found hanging from a tree at Lailam Ghati in Potka of East Singhbhum bordering Orissa, police said.

Sub-divisional police officer (Ghatsila) Anup Birtheray said the murder was perhaps committed in Orissa and the bodies were dumped at Lailam Ghati in Jharkhand by the miscreants to mislead the police.

Justifying his claim, he said the burnt clothes and bangles of the girl were found scattered at Tiring in Orissa bordering Potka.

The matter was under investigation and police have interrogated the villagers in the vicinity, the police officer said.
