Unaccounted cash worth one crore seized by Maharashtra police
Amravati: Just days before municipal corporations across Maharashtra go to polls, the state police have recovered unaccounted money amounting to one crore rupees from the Amravati district.

The cash, recovered during night raids, was hidden in the bonnet of a car. Two people have been arrested for transporting the money.

The two arrested have been identified as driver Prakash Masram and Ashish Bodhankar. They both hail from Nagpur.

The car belongs to one Satyanarayan Aggarwal.

Police suspect the cash was meant for election campaigns and are interrogating the arrested duo for further details.
