Muzaffarnagar:
A young man has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Yuusufpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the woman's husband, when she was waiting at a bus stand last evening, the accused Vishva Kumar came on a bike and offered to drop her to her village.
But, the accused took her to a sugarcane field and raped her, SHO Munesh Kumar of Pukhtaghari police station said.
The accused has been arrested and the woman was sent for a medical examination, he added.
