Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh : Seven persons were today killed and five others injured when three passenger vans were hit by a truck in Sukrauli area, police sources said.
The incident occurred this morning when the three passenger vans were hit by the truck killing two persons Shiv Sagar (60) and Narsingh (30) on the spot, they said.
Police said that 12 injured were admitted to Gorakhpur medical college where Shanker (24), Santosh (32), Chottelal (32), Musafir Ansari (32) and an unidentified person died during treatment.
Truck driver Rajiv has been arrested, they said.
