A wanted Hizbul Mujahideen militant Mudassir Nazir Lone was today arrested from the Batamaloo area in Srinagar, police said. Lone, wanted in several cases, was arrested from Batamaloo bus stand by the sleuths of Special Operations Groups (SOG) of local police.
The militant was also accused for a contract killing case. Last week, police had arrested six militants of the HM outfit in connection with attempting to revive the group in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said.
