Warm morning greets Delhiites
New Delhi: Delhiites on Monday woke up to a warm morning with the mercury remaining above the normal level.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 12 degree Celsius, three degrees above normal. The minimum was recorded at 13.3 degrees on Sunday, while it was 10.5 degrees on Saturday.

The maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 27.4 degrees, three degree above normal.

The Met department attributed the warmth in the temperature to extra tropical system. The temperature will start falling from Tuesday, it said.

The morning also saw a slight mist, with the visibility reducing to 1000 metres.

The Met department forecast a misty and foggy morning on Tuesday with the minimum and maximum temperatures expected to be around 10 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.

During the past week, the temperature in the city has been oscillating between 10 and 25 degrees Celsius. The season's lowest of 7.9 degree Celsius, was recorded last Saturday, which was also the lowest for the month of November in the past three years.
