A team of vigilance officers in Haryana's Faridabad today caught a policeman taking a bribe in a buffalo theft case. However, his ingenious move to destroy evidence when he was caught in the act baffled them.
Sub-Inspector Mahendra Ula was seen being overpowered by vigilance department officers while trying to swallow the currency notes he accepted as bribe. The officials cornered him and tried to recover the money he tried to swallow after being caught.
In the video, the policeman was seen pinned to the ground, while one of the officials put his fingers in the cop's mouth to recover the notes, but struggled due to stiff resistance by the sub-inspector. An onlooker tried to intervene, but was pushed away by another vigilance officer.
