New Delhi:
Water supply has been affected in several areas in South and East Delhi on account of repair and maintenance of the distribution network on Wednesday and Thursday.
A Delhi Jal Board (DJB) official said water supply would be mainly affected in Greater Kailash part-I, East of Kailash, Sant Nagar, Kailash Colony, Panchsheel Park, Udai Park, Niti Bagh, Vasant Kunj, Panchsheel Enclave and Sarita Vihar due to emergency repair work.
Water supply will also be affected in Okhla, Vidhan Sabha Complex, Pragti Power house, Mandawali, Mayur Vihar, and Pandav Nagar on account of repair and maintenance works.
Further, due to a major repair work on a pipe line at Delhi Cantt, water supply will be only available at low pressure from Thursday to Saturday in Munirka, JNU campus, Mehrauli, IIT campus, Green Park and Safdarjang Enclave.
The DJB, which expressed regret for the inconvenience, advised people to store adequate water to meet their requirements.
