Ghaziabad:
At a police station in Ghaziabad, there is, literally, an elephant in the room.
Wildlife officials informed the UP Police that they had spotted an elephant who seemed to have been mistreated by his mahout or owner- his hind legs were badly injured, and he was blind in one eye.
The mahout was unable to provide documents to prove that he was the elephant's legal owner.
The police is looking after the elephant with the help of experts.
They refer to their guest as Gajraj Gajju Singh.
