Buldana: Twelve employees of the Buldana Zilla Parishad have been arrested while trying to commit suicide outside the Zilla Parishad office of Maharashtra's Buldhana.
The employees, who were working as clerks in the PWD department of the Zilla Parishad, have alleged they were not paid salaries by the Parishad for over three years. They were getting a salary of Rs 7000 to 8000 per month.
Over the years they sent letters to PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal and the collector of the district. They were told that there was no money for salaries. So, finally they decided to end their lives today.
They came with poison bottles when the police arrested them.
