Tirunelveli:
A woman was arrested on Sunday on charges of beating a policeman, who had gone to their house for conducting an inquiry at Pungampatti in the district.
Police said the constable Rajaalphonse had gone to the house of Duraisingam for conducting an inquiry when he was attacked by the woman along with two others.
The policeman however, managed to escape and got himself admitted to the local hospital.
A search was on for the other two, police said.
