Gopalganj, Bihar:
A newly-married woman died due to burn injuries after her father's house was set on fire by a neighbour in Ekdedhwa village in Bihar's Gopalganj district, police sources said on Sunday.
In a vengeful act, Udaymal Pal set on fire his neighbour Gorakh Yadav's house on Saturday night following a land dispute between them, the sources said.
Mr Yadav's newly-wed daughter Vasumati Devi sustained severe burn injuries in the fire and succumbed to her injuries at Sadar hospital, they said.
Mr Yadav has lodged a FIR against Mr Pal charging him with arson at his house, the sources said, adding that the accused person is absconding.
