On Wednesday, came the shocking report of a Delhi woman being asked by policemen to strip in front of her son. A day later, an investigation has been ordered.

"When I heard the incident. I immediately ordered the ACP of the area to investigate the matter. We are waiting for the report and then we will take action against whoever is found guilty. Nobody will be spared," said Sharad Aggarwal, DCP (west Delhi).

On May 22, some policemen from the Rajouri Garden police post in Delhi detained two brothers in a theft case. The young boys and their parents were allegedly beaten up by the cops. But the brutality didn't end there.

The family has alleged that some policemen forced the mother of the accused to strip and asked her to have sex with one of her sons. The policemen later released them and lodged an FIR of theft against the family. (Read: Cops forced me to strip in front of my son, alleges woman)

An NGO, Society for Social Research Art & Culture found the victims and encouraged them to file a complaint.

"I am glad to hear that top police officers are intervening in my case. I was so hopeless, but after the NGO people helped me, I am ready to fight for my family's pride. Both my sons are in a state of trauma. I don't know what the cops were trying to do but they made life hell for me and my family.

"They have prepared an FIR against us but under what law can they torture us like this? I know that being poor is the biggest sin in this world, but if you can live with pride and dignity, poverty doesn't matter. I am waiting for the response of the police officers investigating this case," said the woman.

Reportedly, the ACP of the area took the victim to the police post to identify the guilty cops a few days ago. But the family alleges that the policemen tried to bribe them.

"They gave me Rs 3500 and told me to leave the area. Later, they even offered me Rs 20,000  to back off. But I am fighting on for my families pride," said the victim's husband.
