Gandhinagar:
In a shocking crime, a woman and her daughter were found murdered at their house in Sector-6 of Gandhinagar on Thursday, police said.
The incident came to light when the maidservant came to work in the morning.
According to the police, the body of Madhu Trivedi (52) was found on the first floor of the house, while that of her daughter Nupur (30) was found on the ground floor.
Both had stab-wounds.
Nupur was a doctor, and was to get married next month.
Madhu's husband, Shiv Kumar, is presently in the US, police said.
