Palghar: The body of a young woman with her throat slit was found dumped at an isolated place in Father Wadi area of Vasai in the district, police said on Monday.
The body, without clothes, was spotted near a pump house located behind open ground of Vidya Vikasini School around 10.30am on Sunday, district police said in a release in Palghar.
According to police, the deceased could be in age group of 25-30 years.
Valiv Police have registered a case under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of IPC.
