Muzaffarnagar: A fast track court has sentenced a woman exorcist to life imprisonment for sacrificing a four-year-old boy in Muzaffarnagar.
Judge M K Arya also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on accused Asha Devi after holding her guilty on Thursday.
According to prosecution, Ankit, son of Sohan Kumar, was stabbed to death and his six-year-old brother Suraj was injured in an exorcism rite conducted by the accused at Laprana village in the district on July 25, 2007.
