Rewari:
A 26-year-old woman was injured in Haryana's Rewari town when her parents allegedly threw acid on her, police said today.
The victim, Hemalata, and two others, Prakash and his wife Samoora Devi, who were also injured in the attack, have been admitted to a trauma centre and are reportedly out of danger.
Hemlata's father says that his daughter had been kidnapped by Prakash; an allegation refuted by the victim who says she had been working as a teacher in Gurgaon, a suburb of Delhi.
A case has been registered against Hemlata's parents and three of her relatives for the acid attack.
