Woman jumps into well with disabled son

Seoni: A woman along with her disabled son allegedly committed suicide following a dispute with her husband at Chimnakhari village, police said.

The woman, identified as Deveshwari Sonvane, had an argument with her drug-addict husband Deendayal over the issue of serving food. Anguished by the argument, she took her 13-year-old disabled son Anand and jumped into a well situated at the backside of their house.

Their bodies were fished out by the police and a case was registered.

Enraged over the incident, the relatives of the deceased woman allegedly thrashed Deendayal, say police sources.
