A woman along with her paramour and three others were arrested on Saturday for the murder of her NRI husband, police said.
Gurpreet Kaur, her paramour Pawan Kumar, Lalit Kumar, Baljit Singh and Kuldip Singh were arrested for killing Paramjit Singh on February 22.
"Paramjit Singh had come from USA to his native village Kundo Lalowal in Gurdaspur district on January 19. On February 17, he along with his wife and son went to meet his in-laws at Bahadur village," Gurdaspur SSP Varinder Pal Singh said.
On February 22, Pawan along with his three accomplices killed Paramjit when he visited a gurudwara while returning to his native village, the SSP said.
Police have impounded the car and weapons used in the crime.
