New Delhi:
A 26-year-old woman was killed when a train hit her while crossing a railway track in east Delhi on Sunday afternoon.
The incident took place in Vivek Vihar at around 2 pm and the victim has been identified as Pushpa, who resides in Jwala Nagar.
Pushpa, who hailed from Jalaun in Uttar Pradesh, was on her way to home from a hospital and when she was crossing the track she was hit by a train. She died on the spot.
The body has been sent to Guru Teg Bahadur hospital.
