Noida:
A 25-year-old woman was stabbed by unknown assailants in her house in Dadri area on Tuesday, police said.
Three youths allegedly barged into the victim's house at around 4 pm in Mohalla Thakuran and asked her about her husband. When she told them that he was not at home, they had a heated argument. Then one of the youths stabbed the woman.
The victim suffered stab wounds on her right hand and has been discharged from hospital.
The incident triggered tension in the area. While locals claimed that the woman was attacked during a robbery attempt that was foiled by the residents who came to her rescue, police claimed that the incident was fallout of old enmity.
