Jammu:
A woman was washed away when flash floods struck Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Wednesday.
Pooja Devi 20-year-old, who was grazing cattle near the bank of a river, drowned last evening, they said, adding, her body has been recovered.
Heavy rains triggered flash floods in Chenab, Tawi, Neeru, Ujh, Basantar and Tharnah rivers in Udhampur district.
