Hyderabad:
A young woman's body was found stuffed in a suitcase near a bus stand at Mehadipatnam area in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
On receiving information from passengers about foul smell emanating from a suitcase, Humayunnagar police visited the spot and opened the suitcase, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP)- Asifnagar Division- Chandrasekhar said.
A young woman's body aged about 30 years in decomposed condition was found, he said adding that it appeared that she was smothered to death as there were no marks of injuries on the body.
Three youths travelling in a four-wheeler had left the suitcase near the bus stand and sped away, according to an eyewitness.
One of the passengers Mohan Reddy said, "The youths were in hurry to leave the spot after taking out the suitcase from cars dickey."
After visiting the scene, the ACP said,"we have formed a special team to probe the case."
