Chandigarh:
A Youth Akali Dal leader was shot dead by unidentified persons here this evening, police said.
Forty-year-old Tripdeep Singh, who hailed from Muktsar district, was shot dead in sector nine of the Union Territory.
After dropping his niece in sector seven, Singh went to sector nine where some unidentified persons fired at him, police said.
A hunt has been launched to nab the attackers, they said.
