Youths murder prostitute for a mere Rs 200

Bangalore: A 38-year-old sex worker was brutally murdered by two youth after she threatened them of raising an alarm, as the duo refused to pay Rs 200 for her service.

A resident of Chikkajala, Ramakka was a sex worker and used to sleep in the local temple. She was also an alcoholic and used to often offer sex in return of alcohol.

On April 11, Satish (25) and Soori (20) approached her for sex by promising her a beer and Rs 100 each. As she agreed, the duo took her to an isolated place, gave her a beer and had sex with her.

After the act, they felt like having some more alcohol and asked Ramakka to wait while they went to fetch beer from a nearby shop. After they returned, the trio had drinks together and the boys again had sex with her.

While they were leaving, Ramakka asked for the money but they refused to pay as they had given her an extra beer.

Ramakka also demanded an additional Rs 100 each from the duo, as they had sex with her twice.

This led to an argument and she threatened them of raising an alarm. The duo got scared and decided to kill her. They first tried to strangle her and then crushed her head with a boulder.

When the cops saw the body the next day, they started their investigations. Soon the cops found out that Satish and Soori were with her the day she was murdered.

Police Inspector Jaramu of Chikkajala police station, said, "We have arrested the duo and are interrogating them further to know if more people were involved in the murder."
