New Delhi: Hosts India were on Thursday drawn in Group D along with Scotland and Wales for the badminton event of the next month's Commonwealth Games.
The 20 participating teams have been divided into four group of five teams each.
Barbados and Kenya are the other two teams in Group D along with the hosts.
Badminton powerhouse Malaysia are the top seeded country and they are in Group A along with Australia, Nigeria, Seychelles and Isle of Man.
Group B includes Singapore, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jamaica and Northern Ireland.
Group C has England, Canada, Mauritius, Uganda and Falklands.
The badminton event will begin on October 4, a day after the opening ceremony and conclude on October 14 before the closing the ceremony.
