The Indian wrestling team is confident of bagging at least 21 medals including about 14 gold at the Commonwealth Games and considers Pakistan, Canada and England as its main competitors.
"We are aiming for about 21 medals including 14 gold medals," wrestling champion Yogeshwar Dutt said.
Dutt, who was on his way to Sonepat from the Games Village to practice with his regular team-mate along with wrestler Anil Kumar, said he was having a great time in the Village and has made some new friends.
"There are some that I already knew but I have managed to make some new friends as well," he said.
Asked who would pose India serious questions in the mega event, the young wrestler named Pakistan, England and Canada.
Coach of the Indian wrestling team, Yashwir Singh said the team was practising very hard and will do very well during the Games.
Asked about the facilities at the Village, he said, "I have been to about 15 countries but no where were the facilities so good. From residence to food, everything is excellent."
