Many participating countries are concerned about the security at the Commonwealth Games. Rising cases of dengue in the capital and reports of incomplete venues have added to their worries.
International Security Liaison Group (ISLG), a mechanism to coordinate security concerns among participating countries will start meeting every two days from 15th September at the specially set up Command and Control Room at The Claridges, in New Delhi.
A Special DG of India's Intelligence Bureau will be heading the mechanism.
Security experts from most countries have been visiting venues over the past few days. Intelligent Risk, the Australia-based Security consultants for CW Games Federation (CGF) also slated to carry out an assessment in the next few days.
