Applications for various undergraduate courses offered by Delhi University crossed the one lakh mark on Friday within three days of commencement of the registration process.
"The number of registrations till 6.30 pm today was 1,14,152. A total of 40,582 applicants have completed the entire process including fee payment," a Delhi University statement said.
"Of the applications completed so far, 20,081 are from boys and 20,500 from girls. One application has been received from others category," it added.
The online registration had begun on Thursday with 39,000 applications registering on the very first day.
The Centralised Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) forms are available on Delhi University's website - www.du.ac.in - and students will have to make the payment through internet banking.
A total of 60,000 seats in various undergraduate programmes are up for grab. The last date for online registration is June 19 and the first cut off will be announced on June 27.
This is for the first time that the university has introduced completely online admission procedure for Undergraduate admissions unlike previous years when it used to be both online and offline
