New Delhi: Two men have been detained after a 16-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted, murdered and set afire in her home in east Delhi, police have said.
The girl was found dead in her home on Thursday. Initial investigations suggested it was a suicide, police said.
An autopsy later however confirmed the murder.
A friend of the victim, who helped identify the accused, has claimed she was also sexually assaulted by the two suspects.
Police have registered two separate cases against the men.
