Two Nigerian nationals were arrested allegedly for drugs peddling.
Two Nigerian nationals were arrested allegedly for drugs peddling and 222 grams marijuana and 67 bottles of beer were seized from their possession, police said on Friday.
They said Odininake Chukwu Eugene and Edward Ebere were apprehended on a tip-off from Krishna Nagar area and two separate FIRs have been lodged in this regard.
"On receipt of secret information about selling of drugs and liquor a police team conducted a raid and two Nigerian nationals were arrested and 67 bottles of beer and two bottles of liquor of different brands, which they had kept for selling were recovered," they said.
On further search, 102 grams ganja (marijuana) was recovered from the possession of Eugene and 120 grams ganja was recovered from the possession of Ebere, the added.
