3 Men Sent to Judicial Custody for Gang-Rape of 5-Year-Old Girl in Delhi
The three accused have been sent to 14-day judicial custody.
New Delhi: Three people who were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a five-year-old girl were sent to 14-day judicial custody by a Delhi court today.

Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala sent the three accused to judicial custody till October 31 after they were produced in the court by the Delhi Police.

The police told the court that the accused who were allegedly under the influence of intoxicants, gang-raped the minor girl on Friday evening in east Delhi's Anand Vihar area.

The girl, who sustained severe injuries to her private parts, has been admitted to GTB Hospital.

Police said as the girl is in hospital, her statement is yet to be recorded before a magistrate under section 164 of the CrPC.

A case has been registered against the accused under relevant Sections of IPC and POCSO at Anand Vihar police station.
