The woman has been identified as Anjali, who lived in outer Delhi's Rohini with her husband and two children.
Anjali's friend Naveen, 28, met her near the Banta park in Maurice Nagar on Tuesday evening and they were talking to each other sitting inside Naveen's SUV, said a police official.
Naveen is learnt to have called up Anjali's sister and told her that Anjali had allegedly shot herself dead and he was going to commit suicide, following which Anjali's sister raised an alarm and police were informed.
