New Delhi: Delhiites were set for another blistering day on Thursday with the minimum temperature recorded at 31.3 degrees Celsius, five notches above the normal, and the weather office forecasting a maximum of about 45 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will remain clear. Maximum and minimum temperatures will stay around 45 and 31 degrees Celsius, respectively," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature on Wednesday crossed 45 degrees Celsius with the capital also witnessing a high demand for power. Hot 'loo' winds worsened the discomfort for the people, particularly those who work in the outdoors.
