New Delhi: At least 8,000 inmates at the Tihar Central Jail in Delhi performed yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day today.
"They performed yoga in their barracks. Prison officials also took part in the event," Deputy Inspector General of Tihar Jail Mukesh Prasad told IANS.
The two-hour event ended at around 8.30 am. The jail conducted a month-long yoga training session ahead of today.
