God and Yoga for Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal, a Day before Delhi Elections

God and Yoga for Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal, a Day before Delhi Elections
New Delhi:

A day ahead of the Delhi election, main rivals Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal found different ways of de-stressing after a high-voltage campaign.

Kiran Bedi, the BJP's chief ministerial candidate, visited a gurdwara at Krishna Nagar, the constituency from where she is contesting her first ever election. She was seen making rotis for the langar, or meal served to devotees.

"I am not doing it for the first time. I learnt it from my family, from my grandparents, from my childhood. I learnt humanity. I believe in all religions. It's all up to God now," Ms Bedi told reporters later.
Arvind Kejriwal, who is also running for chief minister, apparently believed the same as he visited gurdwaras, a temple and a church today.

He began the day with yoga and was also filmed taking a haircut.

In between, the AAP chief also tweeted: "BJP has highlighted its 7 months achievemnts in its full page ads today. Do these achievemnets excite u? R they as per ur expectations?"

He was referring to the BJP's front page ads in various newspapers listing the achievements of the Narendra Modi government and urging people to vote for it. The party is seen to be facing a tough challenge in Delhi from Arvind Kejriwal and his party despite its winning streak since last year's national election.

Mr Kejriwal has accused the BJP of resorting to desperate tactics because of surveys that have given his party an edge.

The results of the Delhi polls will be announced on Tuesday.
