New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday cancelled the ticket of its candidate from Wazipur assembly in Delhi following a negative report against him, a party statement said.
"The party has dropped Suresh Bhardwaj from its list following some prima facie negative report received against him from the area. The party has replaced him with Rajesh Gupta, who will be the AAP candidate from Wazirpur," the statement said.
A senior party leader claimed Mr Bhardwaj hid information regarding the wages of his factory workers.
Mr Gupta is an assembly coordinator since the last Delhi elections.
The party has announced its candidates for all the 70 seats in Delhi for the coming elections.
