As the Aam Aadmi Party heads for a landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, congratulatory messages poured in for the party and its chief Arvind Kejriwal from friends and rivals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first to send his good wishes. BJP's Kiran Bedi, who lost from Krishna Nagar and the party's Delhi unit chief Satish Upadhyay also tweeted their messages to Mr Kejriwal.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and her son and party vice president Rahul Gandhi also congratulated Mr Kejriwal.

Messages poured in from leaders of political parties who had urged Delhi to vote for AAP - the JD(U), the Trinamool Congress. National Conference chief Omar Abdullah congratulated Mr Kejriwal too.
"The Delhi elections have resulted in a tremendous victory for the AAP, my congratulations to them. My congratulations to the people of Delhi for giving such a strong message to the country," said JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar.

Mr Kejriwal's former mentor, Gandhian activist and the leader of India Against Corruption, Anna Hazare, said he extends his "best wishes". But in a reminder to Mr Kejriwal's 49-day stint, he added, "I urge him not to make the mistakes he committed earlier".
