New Delhi:
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday said it would provide free water and fifty percent reduction in electricity bill to every household if voted to power.
During the third phase of the Delhi Dialogue at South Delhi's Sangam Vihar, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said water and electricity are the main concerns for Delhi residents.
He said the group housing societies not connected with the Delhi Jal Board Water Supply Network will get the connection within a month of the formation of the AAP government.
The provision of giving 20,000 litres of water free per month will be extended to the group housing societies too, he said.
The dialogue ended with exhaustive discussions with many technical experts, non-profit organisations and former legislators, as well as citizens of many water-deficient areas in Delhi.
In the first and second phases of the campaign, the party discussed problems related to youth and women.
Problems related to rural areas, health and education, traders, lokpal and transparency in governance and traffic, parking and public transport will be discussed in the other phases of the campaign which will conclude January 18.
