New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) victory in the Delhi assembly elections reflected the triumph of good over evil like that in the Ramayana, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said today.

"Ramayana is a symbol of the victory of good over evil just like the way Aam Aadmi Party has won over evil in the country's politics," Mr Kejriwal said, while inaugurating a dance-drama on the Ramayana at the Central Park in Delhi.

In his brief address, Mr Kejriwal urged people to bring change in the capital, which he said was needed in order to usher in change in the country at large.

"Get inspired and try to implement the principles that we get from Ramayana in your life," he said.

The performance by eminent dancer and choreographer Kiran Segal and Group was organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad under the Delhi government's Culture Department.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra were also present on the occasion.
