Shallow fog enveloped the national capital on Tuesday, but the day will be clear, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
"The day will remain clear and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius," an IMD official said.
The minimum temperature early Tuesday was recorded 15.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of the season.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent.
The maximum temperature Monday was 30.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the minimum temperature early Monday was 16.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
