New Delhi: The Congress today said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should resign while ensuring that Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar, detained by Delhi Police in a fake degree case, also quits.
Senior Congress leader Ajay Maken, speaking to reporters here, said that Mr Kejriwal and others have been raising issues of high standards in public life. "What happened to them now?"
"Arvind Kejriwal should own up moral responsibility (for his law minister) and should resign. He should also ensure that the law minister also resigns," he said.
Though police said Mr Tomar was detained in a case relating to an alleged law degree, an AAP leader said the minister was arrested.
