A bank manager was beaten up by unidentified men in the capital on Tuesday and his money snatched from him, police said.
The incident took place in Shalimar Bagh and the victim has been identified as Sanjay Giri, who works as a manager in a private bank in Noida.
He was intercepted by four men who allegedly beat him up. He was also attacked with a stone by the snatchers who fled with the money.
The victim alleged that a PCR van in the vicinity did not help him while he was being attacked. Police denied the allegations.
