New Delhi:
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar said on Saturday that the BJP was confident of a 'landmark' victory in the Delhi assembly elections and will have a government in at least 20 of India's 29 states before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
"The BJP will have a landmark victory in Delhi, and anyone who has a misconception that there is a challenge for us will be proven wrong," Mr Javadekar said at an interaction with journalists at the Indian Women's Press Corps.
"Before the 2019 Lok Sabha election, we will have BJP governments in at least 20 states," said Mr Javadekar.
"Prime Minister Narenra Modi has created a sense of participation in people," he added.
