New Delhi: BJP's parliament member and Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal today apologised to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for violating the odd-even motor vehicles scheme and said it was a "serious blunder".
He tweeted:
Mr Rawal travelled to the parliament in his personal car with an even number plate but today being an odd number date, vehicles only with odd number plates were allowed to ply on the roads in the national capital.
Mr Rawal also shared a picture of a copy of the challan that he duly paid to Delhi's Traffic police.
The Delhi government had also announced a special DTC bus service for lawmakers to reach parliament that resumed its budget session from today.
He tweeted:
Mr Rawal travelled to the parliament in his personal car with an even number plate but today being an odd number date, vehicles only with odd number plates were allowed to ply on the roads in the national capital.
On April 25, an odd day, Paresh Rawal entered the parliament premises with an even numbered car.
