New Delhi:
A 24-year-old computer operator was found dead in his car with his throat slit and a gunshot injury, in outer Delhi's Narela area, police said on Sunday.
Mohit, who worked with a private discom, was seen by a person during morning walk around 8 am following which he was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
"His throat was slit with some sharp-edged object and he was shot with the bullet piercing through his abdomen," said a senior police officer.
Police also received several glasses, liquor bottle and cigarette buts, indicating the presence of persons known to Mohit when he was attacked.
Mohit was a resident of Bakner village in Narela area. He was found in his car barely a kilometre away from his house.
His family members told police that he had left the house in his elder brother Manish's Santro car at 8 pm on Saturday night to meet his friends. But he didn't return. They also called his friends but he remained untraceable.
